People engaged in last-mile delivery of essential commodities are the backbone of the Indian economy. Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri shared one such video showing the commendable dedication of an employee who supplied a gas cylinder amid heavy rain during Cyclone Biparjoy in a Rajasthan village.
Amid heavy rain, with water gushing through the streets, the man is seen delivering the gas cylinder to a house in Barmer’s Dhok village. Puri shared the video on Twitter on June 17 and wrote, “The stove will keep burning. The country will continue to grow. Ensuring energy availability. With commendable dedication towards duty, this undaunted foot soldier of India’s energy sector braves the impact of #Biparjoy to supply an #Indane refill at a consumer’s home in village Dhok in Barmer, Rajasthan.”
